About the show

Series co-creator Brad Riddell is a professor who had to make a very quick transition to online teaching when the Covid-19 Pandemic struck. It occurred to him, and his co-creators Sandy Sternshein and David Pasquesi, that remote learning needed a good send up. Plus, we were bored, and we knew lots of really funny people who were also bored, so it seemed like the right thing to do. Distant Learners is a comedy about a disparate collection of lonely adults seeking degrees though the Later in Life Learning program of the local college.
